Dilli Haat – This is a village style market run by the Government of India. Craftsmen from all parts of India display their ethnic wares that range from handicrafts and fabrics to tea and spices.

DLF Malls – Situated near Vasant Kunj, these interconnected malls offer several high end local and international brands.

Greater Kailash Market – This is one of the more recent markets of Delhi. The retail shops offer good quality at a reasonable price. It is popular with people who want to buy authentic Indian couture.

Hauz Khas Village – Situated in a quiet area of South Delhi, this pedestrian only market is built in old havelis (mansions) that are a sight to behold in themselves.

Janpath – Situated in Connaught Place, this is one of the most popular tourist markets where you will find everything from inexpensive clothes, imitation jewellery, shoes and handicrafts.

Karol Bagh – It is one of the older markets in Delhi, with busy streets lined with shops – Ajmal Khan Road and Gaffar Market. You can find almost everything here- from fabrics and clothes to jewelry, electronics and spices. It has some of the finest food shops of Delhi that have been around for decades.

Khan Market – This market has the most expensive real estate in all of Delhi. It is popular with both Indians and expats. The many stores of the market offer both local and international brands.

Paharganj Market – Popular with backpackers for its inexpensive items that range from clothes to imitation jewelry, this market is recommended only if you are able to take in the noise and jostling crowds.

Saket Mall - There are many air-conditioned malls with international and local brands on offer.

Sarojini Nagar Market – This is another market that is popular with backpackers. Be prepared to haggle for the clothes and handicrafts on display.
