Stop At: Agra Taj Visit, New Delhi 110030 India

At 6am your English speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your New Delhi city area hotel in a private air-conditioned car. Afterwards, embark on a four and a half hour drive to the site of

Haridwar. Your first stop will be at Har ki Pauri. Believed to be one the holiest Ghats in the country, Har Ki Pauri is supposedly the first place where Ganga touched the plains, leaving behind the pristine ranges of the Himalayas. The ghat is also known as the Brahma Kund. Here you may witness the stone which is said to contain an imprint of Lord Vishnu’s foot, as indicated by the name.

Visit Mansa Devi Temple, also known as Bilwa Tirath, in the holy city of Haridwar. This site is believed to bestow blessings and fulfill every Mansa (wish) of its devotees. This is one of the five pilgrimage destinations or Panch Tirath of Haridwar. This temple is the apex of the Siddh Peeth triangle – Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi and Maya Devi.

Explore Lakshman Jhula - the popular hanging bridge across the holy river Ganga. A popular landmark in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, this 450 ft long Jhula is built at a height of 70 ft from the river and is about 3 kms away from the main town of Rishikesh.

Visit Ram Jhula aftewards, an iron suspension bridge on the river Ganga in Rishikesh. Ram Jhula connects Muni Ki Reti with Swargashram, serving as both a biking and pedestrian bridge. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant at your own cost and visit Sivananda Ashram,Parmath Niketan Temple, Gita Bhavan, Swarg Ashram, Ma Anandamayee Ashram, Sapt Rishi Ashram, as well as the Beatles Ashram.

In the evening near sunset you will visit Ganga Aarti at Haridwar. Thousands of people visit the ghats of the Ganga at Har ki Pauri at
Haridwar to witness the aarti started several decades ago by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. The tradition continues now unabated. The aarti is a sight to behold; you on the opposing side of the banks you will see the priests light up the lamps. Slowly, these priests start to moving the lamps in a rhythmic, clockwise direction. The reflection of the lamps then become visible on the waters of the Ganges.

The mighty Ganga has a strong current which is indicative of its purpose in life—loving unconditionally all those who come to its banks. Sitting on the banks, you will be in awe of the river which has delivered so many from their sins. Finally you will be taken back to New Delhi and dropped to hotel/airport around 10pm.
