The New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum is open from 10am - 6pm 7 days a week, excluding Christmas and Mardi Gras. Most visitors will spend about 30 minutes to an hour and half. You will be introduced to the roots of voodoo and how it is connected to Christianity. Learn about voodoo spirits, ve ves, the saints, white magic, voodoo dolls, sacred potions and gris gris bags. etc.

You are free to explore the museum on your own during operating hours, or contact the local supplier to reserve a private tour by appointment. Cinnamon, the Voodoo Queen, offers personal tours of the museum with explanations of the exhibits and answers to your questions. Nate, who leads cemetery tours, is available for guided tours to groups before regular open hours. Appointments for palm or tarot readings can be made within the museum's regular open schedule, but exceptions are always possible in the "Big Easy". You can request a special gris gris for your special needs, or the museum will ship for you to another location at your request (additional charge.)
