About your Grand Central Station Audio Tour

If the Universe started with the Big Bang, then modern-day New York started with the creation of Grand Central Station. Opened in 1913, Grand Central Station was to replace two existing railroad stations to create a singular terminal, a terminal that acted as an accelerant for real estate development in the area, giving birth to many famous buildings and hotels, not least of which was the Chrysler building that sprung up right across the street. The station experienced a renovation post an attempt to tear it down in 1968, leading to the inclusion of more shopping and eatery options within the station itself, not to mention a full-fledged food court on the lower level. Your self-guided, one hour tour is the official tour of the station and will take you through these areas and many other famous and historic parts of the terminal, like the Biltmore room, the Whispering Gallery, the astronomic ceiling and so much more!
