Calling all dessert lovers in NYC!

 

In this class you'll learn principles of modern dessert plating techniques. This includes an overview of how to prepare a classic chocolate mousse that will make you look like a pro and impress your guests. You will also learn how to create creme brûlée, macerate fruit and learn how to compose a Michelin starred dessert from start to finish from a professional pastry chef. 

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be quick and easy to recreate at home. You will work with other students in groups of 2-4. 

Chef Felix has taken NYC by storm with his creative desserts and his twist on old classics. Chef Felix has worked with the likes of Coppelia NYC, The Black Ant, Temerario, and other resaturants as a consultant and Pastry Chef. He is also opening a pastry shop in Brooklyn, NY. He is a yearly participant at the Food Network-Food and Wine Show in NYC and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France.
