Escher ever presented in the United States. The exhibition’s American premiere follows its wide success internationally – in cities including Rome, Bologna, Milan, Singapore, Madrid and Lisbon – where it has been attended by over 1 million visitors.
Located on Brooklyn's charming waterfront in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, the Escher NYC exhibition is surrounded by a thriving community of arts, industry and unique dining options in Industry City. Enter the world of M.C. Escher, the iconic Dutch artist who developed figurative and abstract art in the late 1930's through the 1970's when he sought to explore infinity.
Scientific experiments, play areas and immersive photo booths will emulate Escher’s hypnotic environments allowing visitors to be hands-on with Escher's work.
Visitors will also enjoy over 200 works by Escher including Hand with Reflecting Sphere, Relativity, Belvedere, Eye, Metamorphosis, Day and Night and Waterfall.
