11am: We'll meet at the Union Square Greenmarket (we'll meet just inside Pret a Manger at 857 Broadway, corner of East 17th)
11am - 12pm: Tour of the farmers market. Jennifer will explain, in detail, about the local food economy of New York City, what is currently in season, and how to choose the best produce and shop for lunch ingredients
12pm - 12:15pm: Take the subway down to Jennifer's cooking school in SoHo (Home Cooking New York, 158 Grand Street #206); please make sure to have a MetroCard with enough credit ($2.75) for one ride.
12:30pm-2:30pm: Cooking class, lunch preparation, and group meal
