Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum Overnight Experience

Make your own way to the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum on Pier 86 in New York City before 6:15 p.m.

Check in, drop off your bag, and come aboard the Intrepid to experience your after-hours overnight experience. Discover Intrepid’s hangar deck exhibition space, which is unique among historic ships. Play in the Exploreum Interactive Hall, and explore a 40-foot (12-meter) submarine. Grab your flashlight for a guided tour with a special visit to the Flight Deck, and search for treasure during a special scavenger hunt.

You can take part in educational activities and exploratory talks, take unlimited rides in a flight simulator, and enjoy pop-up planetarium shows. The Space Shuttle Pavilion is open from 6:15 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. for self-guided tours.

Sleep among the planes and exhibits on the hangar deck on cots provided by the museum. Please bring your own sleeping bags and/or blankets. There are no showers available. Bathrooms with toilets and sinks are available throughout the ship. A buffet style dinner (beginning in 2018), along with light snacks will be provided along with a continental-style breakfast in the morning. You will also receive a voucher for museum admission (good for 60 days).
