Spirit of Orange County

The tour begins at 8am with a quick meet and greet with your fellow travelers before departing Manhattan and heading out for the days adventure to our first destination; Sterling Forest State Park. We will spend the morning hiking and taking in the spectacular views of this natural treasure.

After our hike, our next stop is Orange County Distillery located in one of the most fertile growing regions of the world called "the Black Dirt region". Every single ingredient used in their spirits is grown right on the farm in this rich soil the region provides. We will have the opportunity to taste the sugar beet vodka, corn whiskey, bourbon and unique terrior of the farm.

Afterwards, we drive to Angry Orchard’s brand new research and development cider facility located on a sprawling apple orchard where we will learn about the cider making process and sample some generous pours of their innovative ciders, some of which you can only try in their festive tasting room overlooking the apple trees.

Our last stop is Newburgh Brewing Company. We will enjoy a group dinner and share some laughs with our new friends as we reminisce about the amazing day before returning to the city.
