About this activity
We will meet at 11AM- Take the N train to 30th ave. Meet in front of Grand Wine and Liquor (30-05 31st street). It is less than a half an hour subway ride from midtown Manhattan. Queens is the most diverse borough of New York City and Astoria is a great reflection of this diversity. As we explore this neighborhood, we will sample a variety, 7-8 taste that reflect the diversity of the neighborhood. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather as we go rain or shine. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Since we are tasting food, please let us know if you have any food restrictions. The tour ends at Bohemian Hall, the oldest beer hall in NYC and you will be free to explore the neighborhood. We suggest the Museum of Moving Image and Noguchi Museum.
