About this activity

Embark on an adventure through 3 amazing New York City boroughs and discover the real New York!
Meet at our Times Square Visitor Center where you will board our climate-controlled coach. You will head to uptown past Manhattan and cross the Harlem River into The Bronx. Often referred to as the “Boogie-Down Bronx,” the Bronx is the only borough of New York City that is attached to the mainland of the United States. Explore the South Bronx known for its influence on Latin music and greatly recognized for its impact on global pop culture with the emergence of Hip-Hop, Breakdance and Urban Graffiti. See the new Yankee Stadium home to the New York Yankees one of the world's most successful sports clubs. Drive along the Grand Concourse known for its collection of iconic Art Deco buildings which were once home to Lauren Bacall, Martin Scorsese and Regis Philbin. Built during the height of the City Beautiful movement, the grand concourse was modeled after the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The apartment buildings along the Concourse once had more state of the art amenities than other boroughs with private bathrooms and central heating and was described as "the Park Avenue" of middle-class Bronx residents. See if you can recognize the names posted along The Bronx 's Walk of Fame a tribute to famous Bronxites. You will be amazed at this impressive list that keeps growing as new inductees are honored annually during the Bronx Week.

Cross the East River into Queens; New York City's second largest and most ethnically diverse borough. See Astoria with its exciting local art corridor of over 130 pieces of street art murals. Take a stroll through Socrates Sculpture Park; the only area in metropolitan New York City dedicated to large scale sculpture and art installations in an outdoor environment. Once an industrial landfill and illegal dumping ground, Socrates Sculpture Park has transformed itself into New York City’s preeminent social space for public art and community engagement. See Long Island City's and its waterfront community's expanding skyline with one of the highest concentration of art galleries, art institutions, and studio space in New York City.

Next stop is Brooklyn! This borough encompasses all things trendy and artisanal and is a must see destination onto itself. Walk the streets of Williamsburg one of New York City’s trendiest neighborhoods famous for its Hipster culture. It is a center for culinary, fashion, style and music innovation. One can feel the independent spirit of this now globally renowned neighborhood. You will enjoy free time on your own to explore its cool and laid back atmosphere and grab a bite to eat for lunch in one of the its many local cafés and restaurants. See Downtown Brooklyn and explore magnificent views of the lower Manhattan from DUMBO and the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
