• After learning all the secrets (well, almost) of production we will go to Moustiers-Sainte Marie. Town famous for its relations with the Sun King Louis 14th and Marie Antoinette. It was right here that porcelain was produced for the king himself thanks to local resources and particularly the triad — water, wood, fine clay. We will go for a walk on the cobblestone streets, plunging more and more into the Middle Ages. Many atelliers offer products from porcelain (‘faience’) for every taste We will visit one of them – a pottery workshop that for more than 200 years turns clay into real fine pieces of art using medieval technology. You won’t find a single identical thing, each product is unique and truely not repeatable. The owner of the store will tell you a lot of interesting things about the history of porcelain and his workshop. Before you continue to the lavender fields we recommend you to stop for lunch at the restaurant "At the Falls" with its remarkable menu of quail, guinea fowl and many other delicious dishes. Just 10 minutes from there, on the Valensol you’ll be astonished with the view – lavender fields as much as you can see down to the horizon. Not only unforgettable photos comes from there but also take a bit of fresh Lavender you might take with you. Heading back we will pass through the great Verdon Canyon - one of the most spectacular and exciting places in Europe with it’s river that would take your breath away. Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of occasions to take valuable impressions and unforgettable photos there.
