About this activity
Located between the sea and the Cevennes hills, Nîmes is one of the most attractive towns in Mediterranean France. During its more than two thousand years Nimes has forged a rich and diverse cultural and architectural heritage. Its history can be read in its monuments.

We will explore large collection of Roman monuments well preserved in Nimes: starting from the famous Arena of Nîmes, a Roman amphitheater where the Féria of Nîmes takes place, and the Maison Carrée, a roman temple extremely well preserved, Tour Magne and Diane's Temple.

Apart from its Roman remains, Nimes is worth visiting for its attractive public gardens Les Jardins de la Fontaine and outstanding modern architecture by Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel and Philippe Stark.

We will walk through charming streets of Medieval city centre with cute local boutiques, gastronomic shops and lively terraces.
