Itinerary
When you first encounter Greenland, you will see the beautiful mountains scattered along the coast of Greeenland – A magnificent sight.
Now you have the chance to go with our local guide, who will show you the great view from the point, locally known as “The Viewpoint”
The mountain is 800 meter high, and is located relatively close to Nuuk. You will meet us at our office on the Old Colonial Harbour. From here we will departure by car and we will drive to the foot of the hike, near Nuuk Airport.
From here the hike starts quite easy, but it soon gets a little harder. We will cross a river and continue along a small stream. From here you will be able to see the summit. We continue up and when we reach the summit our guide will provide coffee, tea and some light refreshments. It is also possible to order a sandwich package, but you are also very welcome to bring your own snacks, bars etc.
From the summit (800 Meter) you will have a great view over the fiord, with nice photography opportunity.
