Take a shuttle from your Waikiki hotel at 6:20 AM or 8:20 AM at the famous Diamond Head Crater, the most popular hiking trail on Oahu! The driver will give you a bottled water and a brochure of the Diamond Head Hike with some information inside. This self guided tour goes on rain or shine and is a must do at the earliest departure times for the hike since it's such a popular destination. It can get crowded at the narrower stretches of the path as more visitors arrive throughout the day. Hiking the Diamond Head only takes about 60 minutes to reach the 760-foot summit.Park fees included ONLY when traveling with Kaimana Tours.Drinks, shave ice and snacks are available for purchase at the park. Toilets and drinking fountains can be found at the beginning of the trail but not along the hike nor at the summit.
