Kingston Highlights Tour from Ocho Rios

1 day
About this activity
Your tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in Ocho Rios. Depending on the number of travelers, you will either have an air-conditioned car or a bus.
Your first stop is Half Way Tree, a central location in Kingston often called Jamaica's Times Square. Spend 30 minutes browsing the stores and taking in the hustle and bustle.
Next, head through the Cross Roads area while making your way to downtown. While driving, you will get to see how locals live and watch people buy and sell goods on the street.
Your next stop is the Craft Market, where you will have 30 minutes to browse through the various stalls and purchase trinkets, crafts, shirts, books, jewelry and other Jamaican memorabilia.
After the Craft Market you will drive through the business district of New Kingston. Here, you'll see Jamaica's tallest buildings and financial center. Stop at Emancipation Park for 20 minutes to take photos of the controversial statue of a bronze, naked couple.
No trip to Kingston would be complete without a visit to the Bob Marley Museum. Tour the former house of the reggae king, and learn more about his life in Jamaica. You may purchase lunch at the Legend Café if desired.
Your final stop is Devon House, a beautiful mansion. Relax and wander the grounds, or try some famous ice cream and pasties.
After your time at the Devon House you will be returned to your hotel in Ocho Rios.
