Arrive at Coquina Beach Ramp 2, located across from Bodie Island Lighthouse Road. Meet your horse at the trailers situated at the back of the parking lot. Receive a short lesson and instructions on how to control the horses to ensure your safety and comfort. Then, head to the beach to begin your 1-hour ride.
Venture down the beach at the wonderful Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Ride at a comfortable pace with your horse across the sand, taking in the beautiful view of the ocean. After soaking in the sun, take your horse into the water to cool off while you watch the sun set.
