We spend average 45 minutes here to see the film site at the cloisters and we also see as and when open, the medieval dining hall, chapel, gardens and quad. Entry fee worth £5 is included in your ticket.

NB we do NOT visit inside the medieval library as it does not anyway permit private guiding inside. However, we do see inside the Divinity School film site at Bodleian Library- as and when this is open. This is worth £2 entry fee included in your ticket. Please note that we can however not guarantee entry here as it does sometimes suddenly close with no advance notice given and it has maybe 40 published closures a year too as it is the university's primary events space.

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 5 hours of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability
  • Please arrive 5 minutes early for your tour at our meeting point.
  • If you arrive more than 5 minutes later than the scheduled tour, then you will likely forfeit and lose your booking as it interrupts the guide and other customers, if we are trying to find you after a guide has started and left the meeting point.

  • REFUNDS POLICY: we don't offer refunds but with at least 24 hours notice, we usually can reschedule to a new date
  • If you opt to book a foreign language tour, this may be possible if you give us adequate advance notice of at least 24 hours. If we cannot offer a tour in a foreign language, then you will be refunded or invited to join the tour in English with any cost difference refunded.
