Admission ticket to the Canal Museum of Panama

This activity includes a admission ticket to the museum. The museum is open from Tuesday - Sunday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm and closed on Mondays. The admission ticket gives you full access to the museum, including temporary and permanent exhibitions but excluding any tour guides, or food / beverages.

Opened in 1997, this history museum chronicles the planning, construction and present-day operation of Panama's landmark canal. Learn about the canal's various construction stages, including the first French construction attempt, the later construction by the United States, and the eventual transfer to Panamanian control. The current building dates from 1874 and served originally as the headquarters of both the French and U.S. companies engaged in the construction of the canal. 

Please note that the ticket cashier closes at 4:30 pm.
