About this activity
Early pick up and transfer to a kayaking adventure on a river that has seen more gold than all the other rivers in the world, the Chagres River on the Caribbean side. After 3 hours paddling through the rainforest kayaking experience, spot Fort San Lorenzo, scene of fiery battles between Spanish kings, British admirals, and intrepid buccaneers to seize the Pre-Colombian, Incan and Spanish treasures. Fort San Lorenzo has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980. Take a relaxing break, then a hike along the river will give you a great opportunity to experience firsthand Panama’s biodiversity along the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor.
