Panama City & Canal Tour

1 day
About this activity
We start our day around 8am to get ahead of the traffic and make our way to the highest natural point in Panama City, Cerro Ancon, for spectacular views of the skyline. From there we will visit the Miraflores Locks and visitor centre where we will witness the large ships passing through the Panama Canal. After visiting the museum, and a short film about the canal, we will make our way out to the Amador Causeway, passing under the bridge of the Americas. We will enjoy some local Panamanian food for lunch and then walk it off on a Smithsonian owned nature trail at Punta Culebra, all the while keeping a lookout for sloths! The final chapter of our tour will take place in the UNESCO world heritage site, Casco Viejo, where will wander the old streets and marvel at the spectacular architecture.
