When your guide picks you up from your hotel, depart Paraty for Laranjeiras Village, an approximate 40-minute drive. Upon arrival, embark on a 1-hour guided trek to Sono Beach, one of the nicest beaches in the region.
During your nature hike, you’ll pass through a preserved area of the rainforest within the AIPA do Cairuçu (Cairuçu Environmental Protection Area). Keep an eye out for different types of vegetation, monkeys and toucans along the river. At the end of the trail, you'll arrive at the powdery sand and crystalline waters of Sono Beach.
Spend several luxurious hours at the secluded beach as you swim, relax and enjoy this tropical paradise. You’ll find great sandwiches and cold beer for purchase at several beachside cafés (own expense). Take in views of the clear blue water and mountain greenery before trekking back to Laranjeiras Village by the same forest trail.
