La Sainte Chapelle is the most remarkable gothic gem in the capital you shouldn't really miss. Considered the finest example of french gothic architecture, it was built to host the relics of Jesus in the 13th century. You will be amazed by the beauty of its walls covered with stained glass windows and the incredible life of king Louis IX who became a Saint. We will talk about its style, the meaning behind stained glass windows, life in the middle ages, the crusades and a few crunchy anecdotes.
