It is no surprise that myths and legends were born from Sturgeon when you learn it is a prehistoric fish and its caviar eggs have been celebrated for their rarity and taste for thousands of years.
On arrival at an elegant contemporary showroom on the Left Bank, you will be greeted and seated. Your host will serve you Caviar resting in a large block of ice plus a spoon made of Mother of Pearl.

Your host will present their knowledge of this extraordinary fish as well as show you a short film of how this luxurious product is carefully produced to obtain the highest quality and subtle taste. Learn about :
• The origin, history and various technologies used to produce Caviar
• The effect of color, size, clarity, firmness and ageing.
• Basic pairing rules.
• Cost comparison of various Caviars.
The Product
Sturgeon is a very old and fragile fish: respect of its life cycle determines the final quality of the Caviar. Environmental commitment, innovative technological research and the control of breeding and development is at the heart of the Domaine's approach.
Great care is taken to minimize the handling of fish during the assessment stages of their growth and transfers in the different basins. The feed is 100% organic, based on GMO-free cereals, processed animal proteins and fish meal from sustainable fishing.
The Sturgeon are farmed in the Domaine's own pools fed by the high quality waters of the River Isle and the re-cycled back to the river. The fish density per pond is lower than average to promote natural environmental balance and health.

- Feel free to ask any questions during your meal but please note that your host may have other clients to serve from time to time so please be patient.
- Your reservation will be held for 10 mins after which you become a No Show.
- If you are late, your host may allow you to 1. Do the tasting / 2. Offer another time slot / 3. Cancel the tasting.
