The most breathtaking aspect of the visit, where one can truly appreciate the scope of fighting and of the destruction that took place here. One is hard pressed to decide which is more admirable - the still visible traces of intensive bombing, or the courage it took to scale the cliffs and attack the strongly fortified bunkers and batteries.

The most important landing site of the Allied Invasion. This is where the bulk of the fighting happened.
