The region of Umbria has numerous towns, villages, park and other places of great interest. Perugia is the Capital of the region and is one of the main cities in central Italy. The historic centre of the city has medieval aspect but is based on an Etruscan design. The old city occupies a strategic position on a hill dominating the Tiber Valley, while the modern city, developed down below. Perugia is important not only for his history but also for Italy’s top jazz festival, Umbria Jazz and an annual chocolate festival, Eurochocolate.

This is a 2 hours walking tour led by a professional and local guide that will tell you about history, art..and much more..walkingh throw narrow streets and beautiful squares.

You will meet your local guide in the centre of Perugia and then you will start an amazing walking through the tunnels of the impressive Rocca Paolina, built in 1540 for the Pope, then you will walk along Corso Vannucci, the main pedestrian street of Perugia, and Piazza IV Novembre that is home to two of the most important monuments in Perugia, the Palazzo dei Priori and the Fontana Maggiore. Through some narrow alleys you will reach the old Etruscan arch and the highest point of the city, Porta Sole where you can admire a beautiful view.
