St Maarten Double Decker Bus Tour

As soon as you depart the harbor you’ll start to enjoy the charm and scenery of this dual personality island which has been flying the flags of both Holland and France since 1648. You will drive from Phillipsburg, the Dutch capital, past the Great Salt Pond and through the countryside. The sightseeing will continue across the north side of the island until the first stop at Orient Bay for pictures on the water or a drink at the beach.

Then you will hop-on the open-top double decker bus with sand in your feet to continue the sightseeing through several quaint towns and fishing villages, including Grand Case known for its lovely beaches and exquisite restaurants. The next stop will be at Marigot, the French capital, where you’ll observe a truly European atmosphere as you browse the waterside open-air markets, quaint shops, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. After your brief sojourn in Marigot you’ll return to the Dutch side and stop at Maho Beach where if you're lucky a plane will just pass over your head to land in the most spectacular airport in the Caribbean.

The tour continues across the south where you will have a spectacular view of the Mega Yachts in Simpson Bay lagoon. The tour ends back in Philipsburg, so you can stay for shopping, beaches and all that Philipsburg has to offer before you go back to ship, or hotel.
