Hi - We're having a great time at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and MuseumLab, our newly opened museum for kids 10+! In MuseumLab, you can go deep on art projects, cool tech and making projects from lasercutting to embroidery to animation. In the Children's Museum, the Art Studio is calling for your unique style and energy to design and create, often alongside working artists. Young ones are royalty in the Nursery, with experiences perfect for growing minds and bodies. In MAKESHOP, our tinkering space, we have real tools and materials such as wood, sewing machines, hammers, circuits, a loom and more. The Attic, Garage and Waterplay (because it's just not fun until your underwear is soaked) round out the permanent exhibits. And a rotating slate of temporary exhibits and programs such as marching bands, cultural traditions and artists, and some amazing interactive art, to round things out.
*Please Note: MuseumLab is open Noon - 7:00 pm, Sept 6 - June 15. Included with admission.
