Cave Sidemount Diver Course

The Cave Sidemount Diver course is about teaching a diver that is Full Cave certified how to use a Sidemount configuration. The course is structured so you have plenty of time in open water to get accustomed to the equipment before entering the cave environment. The program covers the benefits and drawbacks of using a sidemount configuration along with some problem management skills. We will learn about Sidemount equipment, gas management and tank balancing, touch contact techniques, and equipment malfunctions. The Cave Sidemount course will take 3 days and we will dive at least 4 times for a total bottom time of more than 120 minutes.
