Extended Range / TEC 50 Diver

The TDI Extended Range or PADI Tec 50 course is a step further into your technical deep diving training. Here you will learn how to properly prepare for and conduct dives up to 180ft/55m using Nitrox and Oxygen for accelerated decompression. We will discuss oxygen exposure, decompression software, gas switching and the psychological aspects of technical diving and you will implement these during dive planning and execution. After completion of this program you will poses the skills and knowledge necessary of a technical diver. During training we will dive at least 4 times over 3 days with all dives being deeper than 100ft/30m and 2 of those dives deeper than 130ft/40m. In order to ensure you receive personalized instructor attention, our maximum group size for this course is 3 students per instructor. Although the TDI and PADI courses are similar, there are some differences in standards/prerequisites. Prior to starting you can choose which course you want to follow and which certification card to receive.
