About this activity

Get picked up from your Playa del Carmen hotel at 8am, then drive for about 90 minutes to the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site of Sian Ka´an biosphere. See birds, butterflies, and abundant wildlife as you arrive at the Muyil ruins around 10:30am with your small group. Small and lush, the ancient site was an important religious center dedicated to the Mayan moon goddess.

Next, drive for 35 minutes to arrive at Tulum around noon. Explore the archaeological site considered to be the most beautiful icon of the Mayan culture in the Mexican Caribbean. Enjoy spectacular views of the ruins on the white-sand beaches.

Relax for an hour over a buffet lunch of traditional Mexican dishes, then continue your archaeological experience at Coba; an ancient Mayan urban center surrounded by rain forest, lakes, and cenotes. Walk under the trees and observe exotic birds and other animals, and climb the tallest pyramid in the Mayan Peninsula for beautiful panoramic views.

The tour concludes around 5pm, when you're delivered back to your hotel.
