Full day 4x4 tour in Nordeste

On route to the Nordeste you will see the best sights of this region with views and trails between mountains of extraordinary beauty.The tour will take in a number of places along the North coast of the island including Ribeira Grande and Porto Formoso. Arriving in the Nordeste there will be a stop for lunch then the Jeep will climb to one of the highest peaks on the island, Pico Bartolomeu, from where you can see the highest mountain on the island: the Pico da Vara. From there, you can fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty of nature. We will then drive on along the famous Tronqueira mountain trail to the village of Povoção.On your return to Ponta Delgada you will head to the South coast so you get a taste of the beauties of this coast too. The Nordeste tour takes you to the oldest part of the island to discover a different landscape bursting with all the exuberance of unspoilt nature and memorable sights.
