Douro Valley Régua-Pinhão

From Porto we will drive upstream the Douro river by national road in the direction of Peso da Régua, the capital of the Douro Valley.
On the way you will have stunning views on the Douro Valley and the River. We will stop sometimes underway so you have opportunities to make amazing pictures.
In Peso da Régua you will have some time to have a nice lunch with regional food.
After lunch we will follow our way to the next village: Pinhão. The road between Peso da Régua and Pinhão is considered to be one of the most beautiful roads in the world because of the stunning views on the river and the vineyards.
Half way we will stop at a wine estate for a visit and a Port wine tasting.
In Pinhão we will visit the picturesque riverside and the train station with the typical Blue-tiles called ´azulejos´.
After that we will take you to the best viewpoint of the region ´Casal do Loivos´. At the top we will visit a local wine producer where we finish the day with a wine, olive oil and honey tasting.
