About this activity
Your local guide will meet you in front of the riding statue at the top of Wenceslas square. From here you will conveniently travel by public transport to the outskirts of Prague (up to 45 minutes travel time). During the journey you will learn from your guide more about Czech people, their history and life-style. The first stop on your hike will be at a great viewpoint overlooking the valley of Vltava river.

After another 3 km of walking through the forest you will reach the small town of Roztoky. You will have a look around its recently renovated castle and stop for a coffee break.
Refreshed, you will soon get back to the woods and will enjoy an easygoing hike along a small creek in the Silent Valley Natural Reserve. Despite the closeness of the city, this is a habitat of a large variety of birds and invertebrates. And if you dare, you can hike up the rocky cliff to adore the bird-eye view of the valley.

The trip ends in village Unetice, famous for it's restaurant-style brewery with 100+ years long tradition, which was just restored back to it's former glory. Take the chance and taste local beer, then enjoy á la carte late lunch (main course and drink included). You will be given tips on some typical Czech meals to try to finish this 6 hour well-balanced half day trip.

You will head back to the center of Prague by a combination of bus and metro or your guide can call a taxi (taxi not included).
