About this activity
Marvel at the gems of Prague Castle and the Castle District on this fascinating 3-hour walking tour! Start at the Charles Bridge where you'll walk across to the other side of the river. Then take a tram up to Stahov Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the country. It was built in 1140 and rebuilt numerous times since, due to the damage from various wars. Admire the panoramic views over Prague from a viewpoint, before descending to the nearby Castle District (Hradčany). Stroll the cobbled streets of the district before seeing the St. Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, courtyards, and other must-sees within the castle walls! Along the way, your guide will share secrets and facts about the Prague Castle through the ages.
