About this activity
Come see Czech beer tradition in action during this 3.5-hour microbrewery tour in Prague. With the world's highest rate of beer consumption per capita, the Czech Republic has centuries of brewing tradition. Hops have been grown in the Czech lands since 850 A.D., and the first recorded brewing was in 990 A.D. by Bohemian monks at the Břevnov Monastery close to Prague Castle.

Traveling by foot and by tram, you’ll be led by a friendly guide to 3 different local breweries: Pivovarsky Dum, the U Fleku and the U Medvidku. At each stop, taste beer brewed on the premises including light and dark beers as well as seasonal brews. In total, sample 11 different beers throughout the tour and learn about the traditional and modern brewing techniques used.

This tour takes place in Prague’s New Town, a charming and historic quarter in the Czech Republic’s capital. Czech’s call beer ‘pivo,’ and there will be plenty of pivo to go around during this fun and informative tour.
