About this activity
You will be picked up from your hotel at around 9am, and after a one hour ride you will arrive at the town of Karlstejn.

Be transported to the castle by horse carriage, and a tour of the castle will follow. It was founded in 1348 by the Czech King, Charles IV, who was also the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The castle was designed to protect the crown jewels and the relics of the Kingdom and the Empire. Its renovation, which lasted from 1887 – 1889, was a purist renovation and both renaissance and more recent changes were removed. On your way back down from the castle you will also have the opportunity to see the town.

After a short ride you will arrive at the Kolkovna Restaurant. A team of experienced chefs will offer you an unique gastronomic experience. All of this with an incredible view of the castle.

The next stop of the tour is the incredible karst cave system named Koněprusy which can be found in the Protected Area of Cesky Kras. The caves are the longest and one of the most famous cave systems in Bohemia.
