Scape Park Cultural Route and Cenote Swim from Punta Cana

After pickup at your Punta Cana hotel, head to Scape Park, a nature-based theme park located in the heart of Cap Cana Resort on the east coast of the Dominican Republic.

When you arrive, your 2-hour eco-adventure to Cenote Las Ondas starts with a relaxing walk at an unhurried pace. Follow your guide along a nature trail through a tropical forest, pausing to learn about native flora including orchids, cactus, bromeliads and other plant life, and look for iguanas along the path.
Throughout your tour your guide points out depictions of the Tainos, their rituals and the objects used in daily living as you discover the indigenous cultural heritage of the Caribbean. Upon reaching the mouth of the cave, descend via a staircase into Cenote Las Ondas and view original Taino pictograms — evidence that they once made use of the site.

When you reach the clear, turquoise waters of the secluded natural sinkhole, you have about 30 minutes to cool off in its rejuvenating waters before your tour ends with return to Punta Cana for hotel drop-off.
