Full Day Combo – Scenic Sights + Classic Wine Tour

Be wowed on this morning tour by the panoramic views from Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and the Remarkables through to Arrowtown. You will visit the local “must-sees” and have photo opportunities of the Shotover River and Skippers Canyon Saddle lookout. Stay in Arrowtown for lunch, and we will pick you up at 1.30pm and take you out for an afternoon of wine-tasting. Other activities throughout the morning include viewing locations of the Lord of the Rings filming sites, visiting a Lavender Farm (time and weather permitting), and touring through Lakes District Museum. You will have the opportunity to experience gold-panning and keep any gold you find! In the afternoon, visit 3 wineries around Queenstown and the Gibbston wine region. Take a tour through New Zealand’s largest wine cave and enjoy a stunning drive through the rugged Kawarau Gorge viewing the original AJ Hackett Bungy bridge. Time permitting, you will visit the Lord of the Rings filming site: Pillar of the Kings.
