Glacier Hike on Sólheimajökull Small Group Tour with Guide

Meet your guide at Sólheimajökull parking lot (At the end of road #221) and will be handed the equipment needed for the tour.
Once boots, rainwear, crampons, ice axe, helmet, and harness have been fitted, enjoy the walk with your small group escorted by a local certified glacier guide towards the Glacier (about 15 minutes). When in front of the glacier, the guide will show you and help to put crampons on your boots and introduce in more detail the appropriate usage of the equipment as well as safety on the glacier.
Enjoy a 1.5 hour long glacier hike on the ice and hear about formations and features that are unique worldwide.
After the fun, exciting and educational hike, find yourself in front of the glacier, taking crampons off and walking back to the parking lot.
