Day 1 - Golden Circle - Secret Lagoon

The first stop is Þingvellir National Park. It is not only famous for its beauty, also is widely known for being the first parliament in the world, which was founded by the locals in the 10th century. Since it is the private Golden Circle tour, it is more flexible to see the sights, but having in mind that there are also so many other beautiful pleases as the tour continues. Next stop is the Haukadalur geothermal area, where you will find Strokkur Geysir hot spring. It is the most active geyser in Iceland that shoots hot water as high as 20-30 meter (65-98ft) and it happens approx. every 5-10 minutes. To cool down, we continue the drive to Gullfoss waterfall, the second largest waterfall in Iceland. In the summer, if you stand close enough to the falls, you can even feel fresh mist touching your face. But, don’t get too close to the cliff, it’s dangerous.

At this point, we are done with three main attractions of the famous Golden Circle. However, our tour is not finished yet, we will be heading to the south to visit Fridheimar tomato cultivation farm, where you get a chance to taste fresh tomatoes or even try tomato-based dishes in the cozy greenhouse. We are going to stay here for about an hour so you can experience it Last stop of the day Kerid crater filled with water.

Today you get to see the magical Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you will be able to literally walk behind it without getting completely wet. At the same area, we will also visit a beautiful waterfall, which is secretly hidden inside the mountain. After enjoying these two amazing waterfalls, we will be heading to see another beauty. The Skogarfoss waterfall, which is 60m (197 ft) high. Even from the distance, we will still feel the power of it. If you like to see it from above, you can take a little hike on the wooden stairs all the way to the top, where you can enjoy the view from above. Next stop is Sólheimajökull glacier (Mýrdalsjökull). Where we will do two-hours glacier hike on the glacier that is partly covered with ash from the Eyjafjallajökull eruption in 2010. Our final area of the tour is the most picturesque and unique to Iceland – the Dyrholaey arch, the mystical Reynisfjara – world-famous black sand beach with a basal column cave and Vik village which oversees Reynifjara’s islands.
