Langjökull Snowmobiling Tour
Explore the stunning landscapes of Iceland on this 1 day tour of the Golden Circle and snowmobile ride across the Langjökull glacier. Your trip will begin early in the morning by bus to the sights along the Golden Circle route, Iceland’s most visited tourist route. You’ll make stops at Geysir and Strokkur, where you can see the powerful active geyser erupt every few minutes. Experience the Gulfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall as it thunders into a crevice on the Icelandic landscape. Learn about the unique geology of Thingvellir National Park and see some of the most important sites that feature in Icelandic history and lore. During the tour, you will also make a stop at the Langjökull glacier, where you’ll gear up with protective clothing and safety equipment for your snowmobile ride across Iceland’s second largest glacier. The guide and support staff will take you across the glacier, 2 riders to each snowmobile (unless you have paid the solo rider surcharge).
