Small group guided Mt.Esja hike from Reykjavik with swimming food & drinks

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and you will drive for just 20-30 minutes. On your way to Mount Esja, you will listen to Icelands most famous musicians like, Kaleo, Sigur Rós, Björk, Of monsters & Men, just to name few. When you arrive at the mountains roots, the party will begin. While your hiking, the guide will keep you a great company. Do not forget to stop and fill your bottles with fresh water. Or like many do, they just drink straight out of the river. The Iceland nature is like nothing else. When you get to „The Stone“ which is almost the top, you will be given the famous Skyr. Skyr is high in protein and very healthy. After the hike you will relax in a Swimming pool called Lágafellslaug. There are hot tubs, cold tubs and steam bath. To get the best and fastest recovery, we recommend going in to the cold tubs first. After freshen up there, you will sit down in a great restaurant and enjoy 2 course dinner and Icelandic beer tasting. What a great end to this tour.

Please bring: Good hiking shoes, water bottle, appropriate clothing depending on weather, swimwear and towel (it’s possible to rent them for a fee at the pool). Since you end up in a restaurant, we highly recommend an extra set of clothes to change into after the pool trip.
