The bridge between Europe and North America at Sandvík is a small footbridge over a major fissure. The bridge was built to symbolize the connection between Europe and North America.

Stop At: Gunnuhver Hot Springs, 63°49'09.5"N 22°41'06., Möðruvellir 4, Möðruvallavegur, Iceland

Gunnuhver is the biggest mud pool in Iceland. It is a highly active geothermal area of mud pools and steam vents named after a troublesome ghost named Gunna.

Your last stop before heading back to Reykjavik is the walking path next to the Blue Lagoon. You will be surrounded by stunning lava fields and blue ponds.
