Saga Tour

Our guide will pick up in Reykjavik. Our coach will drive along the beautiful westcoast and the fjord Hvalfjördur to Borgarnes, where we will visit the Settlement center. There you will have a choice between two different exhibitions: One is about the first settlers in Iceland, the other one tells us the Icelandic saga about the viking hero Egill Skallagrimsson. At the settlement center you can also buy lunch.

After lunch we will visit the hot springs of Deildartunguhver, the waterfall Hraunfossar and Reykholt, where Snorri Sturlusson – one of Icelands most famous poets – lived in the Middle ages.

Entrance to the Settlement center is included in the price.
