Known as an Afro-Brazilian religion, the Candomble was developed between the years of 1549 to 1888 by African priests.

On this tour you will be able to experience this beautiful religion as many of these ceremonies take place on weekends and show people a glimpse into the culture and history still present in traditional homes. During the ceremony you will be able to witness priests invoke a tradition called ‘Orixas’ and fall into a trance-like state.
