Stop At: Av. Pres. Castelo Branco, Portão 3 - Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 20271-130, Brazil

We will leave the hotel towards the northern part of the city to visit the Estadio Jornalista Mario Filho, or Maracanã, possibly one of the world's most famous football stadiums. Built for the 1950 World Cup and revitalized for the 2014 World Cup, where it hosted the final matches of the championship, the Maraca also hosts the glories of the Rio de Janeiro teams. Because it is a unique stadium in the world of sport, which has already given emotions to so many people and fans, the Maracanã is a must-see tourist attraction!

The tour will begin with a visit to the outside of the stadium, where is the iconic statue of Mauro Bellini, the captain of the Brazilian National Team. Entering Maracanã, we will learn stories and curiosities about Brazilian football through historical pieces and objects such as balls, shirts, soccer shoes, donated by football stars like Pelé, Zico and Garrincha. In addition, we can visit the locker room and the heating room, but the best part is at the end of the tour.

We can enter the access tunnel to the field feeling the cold in the belly that the players feel in days of matches and step on the lawn of the stadium, fulfilling the dream of millions of Brazilians. Still on the lawn, we can sit in the reserve benches and climb to the Maracanã Mais sector seats, having the experience that the fans have on the matchs days. Finally, we finished the tour in the press conference room and returned to the hotel.
