Petropolis Day Tour from Rio de Janeiro

In this Rio de Janeiro Day Trip we will see in the City Tour Petropolis the former Imperial Museum, the House of Santos Dumont and the St. Peter Cathedral.

Located 60km from Rio de Janeiro, Petropolis known as the Imperial City reserves constructions since the days of the monarchy. Designed by Dom Pedro II and built by German citizens enchants visitors with his architecture style. We begin our city tour visiting the outside garden area of Quitandinha Palace.

From there we will go the center of Petropolis where we will visit the Cathedral of St. Peter of Alcantara, where rests the Imperial family. We will know the former summer palace of the Royal Family, the Imperial Museum (tickets included).

With pickup at the hotels from the south zone of the city (Ipanema/Leblon/Copacabana/Botafogo).
