We pick you up from the hotel at 2:30 PM, and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh. The first stop for the tour is an ancient temple, “Bharat Mandir”, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is made up of Saligram. The next stop will be at Lakshman Jhula, which is basically an iron suspension bridge, across the River Ganga. There is a great legend attached to it that is why it is a center of attraction for tourists. From there we proceed further to Trayambakeshwar Temple, which is a 13-storied building. It is dedicated to different Hindu deity. For shopping you can explore the local markets from Laxman Jhula to Ram Jhula.

Then we take you to visit Gita Bhawan Ashram, which is well known for preserving Hindu Literature. Located close to the Ganga the Ashram houses the beautiful Lakshmi Narayan Temple. From there we proceed towards Beatles Ashram, also known as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram. It was basically a Yoga learning centre, but now it has become an important tourist site.

After the sightseeing tour in the evening, be the part of the Ganga Aarti performed at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. It is a mesmerizing experience to watch Brahmin Pundits chanting the Vedic hymns along with the music. The eventful day comes to an end and we take you back to your hotel in Rishikesh.
