You'll see the statue of Pauline Bonaparte, sculpted by Canova reclined upon a sumptuous couch. You’ll admire Cardinal Scipione's collection of paintings that consists today of hundreds of canvases including Caravaggio's "Boy with a Basket of Fruit" and "David with the Head of Goliath", Raphael's "Deposition", Titian's "Sacred and Profane Love" works, and dozens of statues both by contemporary artists of that century like Bernini and ancient Roman sculptures. This collection is not only a way to learn about Roman art history but is a time-travel through love, art, passion, power, wealth and aristocracy.
